Competitor price monitoring tools compared (2026 pricing)

Price monitoring tools charge in different units: some by products, some by competitor page links. That makes the sticker prices hard to compare. This page lines up the published prices and explains what each unit really means for a store tracking a few hundred products against several competitors.

Prices last checked October 2026. Competitor prices are their published US-dollar list prices and may have changed.

Products versus page links

Prisync and RivalView count the products you track. Price2Spy counts product page links: one of your products tracked on three competitor sites is three links. A catalogue of 500 products tracked against four competitors is 2,000 links, so always convert to the same unit before comparing.

Monitoring is not repricing

Watching competitor prices tells you where you stand. Acting on it means changing your own prices, which is a separate capability and sometimes a separate charge. When comparing, check whether automatic repricing is included, whether it respects a minimum price you set, and whether it can require a manual review before a change goes live.

  • A minimum price (floor) so a competitor's mistake never pushes you below margin.
  • A maximum or recommended retail price cap so you do not price above RRP.
  • A choice of strategy, such as matching the lowest competitor or beating the cheapest above your floor.
  • A review step for new or unusual matches before they affect live prices.

Where RivalView fits

RivalView tracks competitor prices on the products you choose, checks them daily, and can update your own prices inside the floor and ceiling you set. It connects to Neto, Shopify, WooCommerce and BigCommerce stores and can push prices to Google Merchant Centre. It is priced per tracked product in Australian dollars, including GST.

Frequently asked questions

How much does competitor price monitoring cost?

Published prices start around US$99 a month for 100 products on Prisync and Pricefy, and about US$158 for 2,000 page links on Price2Spy. RivalView starts at A$69 a month including GST for 100 products, with repricing included.

Is RivalView cheaper than Prisync?

At list price, RivalView's 100, 1,000 and 5,000 product sizes (A$69, A$249 and A$549 including GST) are below Prisync's US$99, US$199 and US$399 once converted to Australian dollars, and repricing is included. Confirm current prices with both vendors.

Can I price match automatically without losing margin?

Yes, if the tool lets you set a minimum price per product and never prices below it. Set floors from your cost and margin, not from competitors.
